The Daily Dose of God May 19

Memory Verse; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God  Romans 3:23

Matthew 6:19-7:29, Ps 132

The very first lesson in Biblical narrative is I need you to learn when to take a break. . .  A break that is a reminder that your value and worth does not come from what you produce, it comes from who you are!  Mary Solomon

Holy and Gracious Lord,  We praise You that when we cease from working for Your favor and put our faith in Christ, he personally justifies us. We confess that our righteousness does not come from works of the law and is not our own, but comes through faith in Your Son. Today we will remember and believe that Your caring attentiveness is toward the righteous, and Your ears are open to our prayer: this is our blessed condition in Christ our Savior. Amen.
