Heavenly Father, thank You for the writings of holy men of God, who have told us the end from the beginning and who provided hope and encouragement for all Your children. Thank You that evil men will one day be punished and that those who fear You will receive honor and great glory, in the ages to come. The Great King

Dear heavenly Father, thank You for Your goodness and grace to all people. Thank You that you have told us the end from the beginning, through faithful men of old like Malachi. Thank You for Your faithfulness in fulfilling Your promises to Your people Israel and that Your precious promises to the Church are all 'Yes' and 'Amen" in Christ Jesus. Thank You that He came at the appointed time to be our Savior and that as many as believe in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life. 2 Timothy 1

A Suffering gospel

Lord, you alone can comfort me.  Today, I not only find this world frightening - I am frightened of the evil I am capable of.  I am frightened of that which You ( I believe) would deliver me from, and yet I will not let go.  Help me to let go, Lord.  "Deliver us from evil . . ." You taught us to pray.  Maybe, this fear is part of the lesson.  Amen  (Rich Mullins)
