Daily Dose of God January 30

Memory Verse; The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14 NIV

Jeremiah 30,31, Psalms 23

Above all, measure your progress by your experience of the love of God and it's exercise before men.  Wilberforce.

Jesus, we will never cease in prayer of praise to You and of You for giving us Faith.  There is so much to this word.  Its like action and item all in one!  Which truly is the essence of You, our Savior.  So this day, Jesus, we pray in Faith and with Faith of deliverance from the bounds of satan's lies upon our beings and on those who sometimes hit our faith hard.  It is a very sorrowful situation in the world right now, but Faith cannot be destroyed.  You are FAITH!!! We hold fast to FAITH!!! Amen (Prayerscross)

Memory Verse; The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14 NIV

Jeremiah 29, Psalms 22

It is easier to declaim like an orator against a thousand sins in others than to mortify one sin in ourselves; to be more industrious in our pulpits than in our closets; to preach twenty sermons to our people than one to our own hearts. John Flavel

God, have mercy on me a sinner! Amen

Memory Verse; The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14 NIV

Jeremiah 27-28, Psalms 21

Give us a song to guide our feet, as we’re marching to Zion.

Lord, the power of song can stir our hearts to courage and break down walls of resistance. Help us compose lyrics of our lives that move enemies to compassion and make justice to rise up and dance in every corner of the world. Amen. (Commonprayer.net)

Memory Verse; The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14 NIV

Jeremiah 26, Psalms 20

One thing we know, which the White Man may one day discover our God is the same God. You may think that you own Him as you wish to own our land,  but you cannot. He is the God of humanity, and his compassion is equal for the red man and the white. The earth is precious to him, and to harm the earth is to heap contempt on its Creator. Even the white man cannot be exempt from the common destiny. We may be brothers after all. We shall see. Seattle

Thank you, Lord, that you do not claim to be God over just some -people but are the creator and redeemer of all creatures. Help us spread the good news that no one can claim ownership of you because each of us belongs to you. Amen. (Commonprayer.net)

Memory Verse; The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14 NIV

Jeremiah 25, Psalms 19

“You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it.” Maya Angelou

Father God, my feelings and emotions have been troubling me. Thank you for giving them to me as indications of things I can bring to you in prayer. I pray that as we work through these issues and fears together, you will restore me back to wholeness so I can rejoice in you even when I don't feel like doing so. Please show me if anything that I have done is causing my soul to be downcast. Fill me with the light of your Spirit so I can arise from this state of gloominess. Teach me to cast every care upon you. Fill me with your joy and peace. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.(https://thelife.com/crushed-in-spirit gclid=Cj0KCQiA0rSABhDlARIsAJtjfCd3Z7EUbXFaOZRdkm14ZEIiL3VWrgrp1PR-u-o9G0w7Ujsk4VGZctoaAhvhEALw_wcB)

Memory Verse; The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14 NIV

Jeremiah 23-24, Psalms 18

“The world is going mad in mutual extermination, and murder, considered as a crime when committed individually, becomes a virtue when it is committed by large numbers. It is the multiplication of the frenzy that assures impunity to the assassins.” Cyprian of Carthage

Lord, we all suffer varying degrees of blindness. We are blind to love, to justice, to grace, and to life. Help us not to condemn one another in our blindness, but rather to work together to help one another see more clearly by your light. Amen (Commonprayer.net)

Memory Verse; The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14 NIV

Jeremiah 21-22, Psalms 17

By putting progress in the hands of our falseness, we have magnified nearly, every human flaw.  Swenson, Richard A. Margin. NavPress, 1992.

Jesus, thank You for redirecting our thoughts that give a new thinking on our actions. Sometimes we are too focused on the actions of others that we don't even think of our own. But this is a part of healing...to redirect our focus on You and Your beautiful freedom You gave us. We are in very personal relations with You and because of this we have the gift of control upon our thoughts and actions. This day as we venture out, yes, we will face the hits of other's words and actions, but we will also get the great gift of, we give back Your Love and actions!!  Keep our focus Jesus. Amen (Prayerscross)
