Daily Dose of God's Word For November 2

Daily Dose of God's Word For November 2

Memory Verse: But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; Isaiah 40:31 NKJV

2 Corinthians 12

When we are strong in abilities or resources, we are tempted to do God’s work on our own, and that can lead to pride. When we are weak, allowing God to fill us with his power, then we are stronger than we could ever be on our own.

Heavenly Father, thank You that Your grace is sufficient for all my needs. Help me to recognize and rejoice in the knowledge that Your power is made perfect in my own weakness. Help me to boast all the more gladly in my inabilities, so that Your great ability may be manifest in my life - to Your praise and glory, AMEN.  (https://prayer.knowing-jesus.com/2-Corinthians/12/9)

Daily Dose of God's Word For October 31st

Daily Dose of God's Word For October 31st

Psalms 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.  Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup
runneth over.  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of
my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Romans 12
We’re called to be a living sacrifice. But the problem with living sacrifices is that they keep crawling off the altar.

Shepherd, protect Your lambs, as we wrestle with the mysteries of Your created universe.  Shepherd, comfort Your lambs, as we sacrifice, for others.  Shepherd, assure us with glimpses of the palace that awaits, for all who follow the Good Shepherd.  Amen  REM
