Daily Dose For September 19

Memory Verse In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1 NASB

Ezra 3-4 Psalms 76

If the wind will not serve, take to the oars.  Latin Proverb

Father in Heaven, Thank You for Your power and promise to supply our every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. Knowing these things to be true, may we do as Jesus taught us and always pray and not lose heart. In the Name of Christ, amen. (Adah Hutchcraft)

Memory Verse In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1 NASB

Catch up day Psalms 74

When stressing the muscles, the nervous system gets a rest.  Moderation is the rule, however.  If the body is pushed to extremes, damage can instead be compounded.  Dr. Richard Swenson A Minute of Margin Reflection 20

Jesus, You are our Grace.  In every hurt that has hit our beings, You also have felt.  The greatest healing upon us is Your Diety and Your Salvation given to us.  We may never fully understand the why's of hurt but we can grasp the Truth of Your feeling our pain and giving us Your Strength of endurance and most of all, the desire to keep lifting ourselves and others up to You for healing.  We don't belong to the past, we belong to You, our Present and our Future, for You are here and there!!!  Amen (Prayer Cross)

Catch up-day Psalms 73

the ultimate purpose of other creatures is not to be found in us’ but in themselves as a valuable part of God’s good creation. Pope Francis Laudato Si'

Father, Everything has the potential to draw forth from me a fuller love and life. Yet my desires are often fixed, caught, on illusions of fulfillment. I ask that God, through my freedom may orchestrate my desires in a vibrant loving melody rich in harmony. Amen (https://www.sacredspace.ie/daily-prayer/2020-09-14)

Daily Dose For September 15

Memory Verse In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1 NASB

2 Chronicles 35-36 Psalms 72

A man can wear out a particular part of his mind by continually using it and tiring it: but the tired parts of the mind can be rested and strengthened not merely by rest, but by using other parts. . . Many men have found great advantage in practicing a handicraft for pleasure.  Joinery, chemistry, bookbinding, even bricklaying-if one were interested in them and skillful at them-would give relief to the overtired brain.  Winston Churchill

Lord, thank you for your reassuring presence that surrounds me.  This is almost too wonderful for me to take in!  By the Holy Spirit, enlarge my capacity to remain aware of your presence throughout the remainder of this day.  In Jesus' name, amen.(Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day Peter Scazzero Pg . 170)
