Memory Verse In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1 NASB

2 Chronicles 31-32 Psalms 70

Expect less from the world and more from God!

Before the ending of the day,

Creator of the world, we pray

That you, with steadfast love, would keep

Your watch around us while we sleep.

From evil dreams defend our sight,

From fears and terrors of the night;

Tread underfoot our deadly foe

That we no sinful thought may know.

O Father, that we ask be done

Through Jesus Christ, your only Son;

And Holy Spirit, by whose breath

Our souls are raised to life from death.  Amen

2 Chronicles 29-30, Psalms 69

There are very few people who realize what God would make of theyif they abandoned themselves into his hands,

and let themselves be formed by his grace.  Saint Ignatius

I break every curse that is set upon me and my family. The dark forces that attempt to lurk in every corner of this beautiful land, will disintegrate at the sound of your great name.

I proclaim and declare that Jesus Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree” (Galatians 3:13).

I declare Satan has no hold over me now through curses or occult practices, through sacrifices or any ritual of any kind. Through the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ, I have been set free and I remain free.  Amen (https://christianstt.com/prayer-curses-evil/)

Memory Verse In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1 NASB

2 Chronicles 25-26, Psalms 67.

With money, the more you hoard the richer you become.  But with love, the more you spend the richer you become. (A Minute of Margin Richard Swenson Reflection 13)

Jesus, in Your Word, is a constant reminder of the purpose for Your coming to this earth. The Love to be given to all mankind is never going to cease or be silenced.  We are forever grateful that ALL can be saved and united with the Creator of all things and the LOVE of the Creator.  May this day in the midst of all the political division, there be a great reminder that nothing can divide Your Love for all!

And may we, Your people show the world that You are our reason and purpose on this earth.  Keep us focused on the Truth of Your Love and Salvation to all!  Amen  (Prayercross)

Memory Verse In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1 NASB

2 Chronicles 23-24, Psalms 66.

Very little of lasting spiritual value happens in the presence of speed.

Lord, I'm thankful today that even though my life has difficulty, I have been healthy and free from Covid-19. And even though I experience anxiety, my home is not burning, flooded, blown over, or shaken to its foundation. I am also safe from those who violently seek to destroy, steal, and terrorize.

And, Lord, if these current events are apocalyptic signs from You, you got my attention and I'm listening.  If not, then perhaps you could work some Divine blessing and help us out down here.  Amen. (Rick Chromey)

Many people, young folks especially, are leaving the church.  But it isn't Jesus they have rejected.  It is a twisted version of American nationalism that is camouflaging itself as Christianity. Shane Claiborne

Jesus, we are totally raising a great voice of "AMEN!"  Thank You for giving us the most beautiful gift of unity with Almighty GOD, our Father!  You, have freed us and we are known and held tightly by Your Loving grip upon our beings. ( Prayerscross)

Like the circular rails of a train at an amusement park, the scripts we know offer a brand of security, of predictability, of safety for us. But the problem is, they only take us where we’ve already been. Goff, Bob. Love Does (p. 207). Thomas Nelson. Kindle Edition.

Unclutter my heart, O God, until I am quiet enough to hear you speak out of silence.  Help me in these few moments to stop, to listen, to wait, to be still,  and to allow Your presence to envelope me.  In Jesus' name, amen.  ( Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day, a 40-day Journey with the Daily Office.  Peter Scazzero Day 1 Evening)

2 Chronicles 17-18, Psalms 63.

Still another step toward simplicity is to refuse to live beyond our means emotionally.  In a culture where whirl is king,  we must understand our emotional limits.  Ulcers, migraines, nervous tension, and a dozen other symptoms mark our psychic overload.  We are concerned not to live beyond our means financially, why do it emotionally? Richard Foster

A Celtic Lord’s Prayer

Holy Three in everlasting community

Blessed is your name among us

May your community reach out and enfold us

May our communities become one

Feed us daily with your word

Forgive us when we forget to live in harmony with others

Teach us your ways so that we too show mercy and love

Show us safe paths to walk

Away from evil as we journey to love

The whole created universe is yours

The winds sing of your glory

In this season and all seasons to come Amen (Bruce Allinson-Celtic Christian Spirituality)
