Memory Verse And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 ESV

1 Samuel 13-14 Proverbs 11

"The Lord bids each one of us in all life’s actions to look to his calling. For He knows with what great restlessness human nature flames, with what fickleness it is borne hither and thither, how its ambition longs to embrace various things at once. Therefore, lest through our stupidity and rashness everything be turned topsy-turvy, He has appointed duties for every man in his particular way of life. And that no one may thoughtlessly transgress his limits, He has named these various kinds of living “callings.” Therefore each individual has his own kind of living assigned to him by the Lord as a sort of sentry post so that he may not heedlessly wander throughout life.." John Calvin

Jesus, we pray without ceasing for need of Your help in this day.  We pray for healing of illness, disease and separation most of all from You.  We pray without ceasing for we know You hear all and yes...You answer,  We hurt, You hurt.  Yet, there is NO doubt that You are GOD and You are the ONLY help in this time of life right now.  Strengthen us and keep us praying for all we cross paths with. May they see and feel the hope and restoration and freedom that only You can give.  Amen (Prayerscross)

Daily Dose For June 8

Memory Verse And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 ESV

1 Samuel 6,7 Proverbs 8

“Don’t think such heavenly-mindedness makes us pilgrims no earthly good. Don’t pooh-pooh it as looking at the world through pie-in-the-sky, rose-colored glasses. Sojourners who think the most of the next world are usually those who are doing the highest good in this one. It is the person whose mind is only on earthly things who, when it comes to earth, does little good.” Joni Eareckson Tada

Jesus, You blessed us with fellowship together here on earth.  Our prayers cry out together for our strength of endurance to grow stronger and stronger.  Today, may we hold fast together for Your Love and Peace to flood the souls of the lost and remind them big time of what You are truly all about.  May Your Truth shut up the "false truth" of satan which is being loudly heard right now.  Please, Jesus, countless souls have confessed You as Savior but are listening too much to the enemy's lies of justice.  We pray You free them from the hatred in this world this day. Bless their beings this day with a display of Your Beautiful LOVE.  Keep us steadfast together in prayer. Amen(Prayerscross)
