God did not stay far from our pain. He did not judge it from a distance. He did not pity it from the other side of the universe. He became it.  K.J. Holy Spirit, you dwell within us and you teach us perfect love, which drives out all fear. Give us a spirit of courage, and make us bold enough to love one another without fear. Enable us to see that perfect love calls us to persevere in suffering and to trust beyond what is visible. Amen. (Commonprayer.net)

Jesus has a word for all of us: stop trying to figure out greatness. It's not a mystery. You have it. Just disassociate it from wealth, power, and fame, and get to work as a servant.  Peter W. Marty

Father in Heaven, May we learn to love so deeply that we uproot bitterness, refuse to feed resentments, and keep our hearts open to forgiveness and reconciliation. In this way may we walk in the Spirit of Christ Who purchased our redemption. In this way, may we love as those fully forgiven and free. In Christ's holy Name we pray, amen. (Adah Hutchcraft)

Memory Verse; For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV

Hosea 1-2, Ps 88

If the disciples thought children too small or unimportant for the serious work of the kingdom, they were wrong. Jesus welcomes children, takes them in His arms and declares that of such is the kingdom of heaven. The force of His words is clear. He does not say merely that the kingdom of heaven is for the childlike. He says that the kingdom belongs to them; it is made up of children and of those who come as children. Edmund Clowney

O Great God and Father of Lights,

You are worthy of all our worship because of Who You are and for the excellency of Your greatness. Yet You have done much more than communicate Your existence,  and You have revealed superior insight into Your majesty than creation can manifest. In Christ Your Son we behold Your exact representation. In Him we perceive Your love in that He laid down His life for us. In Him we know the riches of Your goodness,  forbearance,  and long-suffering. In Him we know Your will and righteousness. Not only this, but we taste of Your goodness in forgiveness, sanctification, and newness of Life!  You desire to make known the riches of Your Glory. You fill us with all goodness and knowledge so our praises are an outpouring of insightful gratitude. The effulgence of Your glory is Christ, and Your people are refulgent with His light,  abounding in grace and thanksgiving for all Your wondrous works. In the Name of Christ, amen. (Adah Hutchcraft)

The soul is healed by being with children. Fyodor Dostoevsky

Our God and our Life,

We rejoice in the resurrection of Christ, for by His cross death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But we give thanks to You for giving us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! May we stand firm by faith, permitting nothing to move us, always abounding in Your work, because in You our labor is not vain. In the Name of Christ the Resurrection we pray. Amen.
