Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.  Thomas Moore

He who makes peace, He who makes peace in His high places, may He bring peace upon us and upon all Israel and say Amen. May He bring peace, may He bring peace, peace upon us and on all of Israel. May He bring peace, may He bring peace, peace upon us and on all of Israel.  Oseh Shalom

If you have come to help me, you are wasting your time. But if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us walk together

Lord of the captive and Lord of the free, fill our voices with songs that proclaim hope, joy, and justice for all creation. Guide us this day to walk alongside the oppressed as fellow sojourners. Amen.(commonprayer.net)

We were given appetites, not to consume the world and forget it, but to taste its goodness and hunger to make it great.

That is the unconsolable heartburn, the lifelong disquietude of having been made in the image of God.  Robert Farrar Capon

Lord, we cup our hands to gather the pieces of heaven you shower upon us. Help us to open our hands with generous spirits and scatter your divine love in the darkest places. Amen. (commonprayer.net)

Shalom: Destroying the authority attached to Chaos. Dr. I. Suuquina

O God the Holy Spirit, most loving Comforter of the fainthearted, I pray that you will always turn what is evil in me into good and what is good into what is better; turn my mourning into joy, my wandering feet into the right path, my ignorance into knowledge of your truth, my lukewarmness into zeal, my fear into love, all my material good into a spiritual gift, all my earthly desires into heavenly desires, all that is transient into what lasts forever, everything human into what is divine, everything created and finite into that sovereign and immeasurable good, which you yourself are, O my God and Savior. Amen. Thomas A' Kempis

Memory Verse; For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV

Amos 3-4, Ps 103

The beginning of love is the will to let those we love be perfectly themselves, the resolution not to twist them to fit our own image. If in loving them we do not love what they are, but only their potential likeness to ourselves, then we do not love them: we only love the reflection of ourselves we find in them.  Thomas Merton No Man Is an Island

Jesus, we know we are Yours by Your Spirit that we have in us. So this day we venture out in a beautiful display of Your Love for all.  Shine brightly this day LORD, shine brightly! Amen (Prayers Cross)

Advice is like snow; the softer it falls, the longer it dwells upon, and the deeper it sinks into the mind. Samuel Taylor Coleridge

Ever-Present Father,

Thank You for sending ministers to lift the heart, convict the soul, and direct us into righteousness. Thank You for those who spoke tenderly to us when we were weary. We bless You for every person who has expressed concern for our well-being and aided us in times of need. Thank You for the generous, the merciful, and the forthright. We praise You for the wise, humble, and courageous. Thank you for those who have helped us, led us, encouraged and admonished us; for those whose correction saved us and whose instruction helped us mature. Thank You for the blessed ones who walk in kindness, never knowing what comfort they deliver and never asking anything in return. When discouraged by ill-spoken words, You sent encouragers. Some stood beside us in trials and others were summoned to our remembrance at crucial times. Thank You for all of Your ministers, friend, or stranger, alive with us or present with You. In Christ's Name. Amen.  (Adah Hutchcraft)

Memory Verse; For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV

Catch up day, Ps 101

The key element in beginning to learn to embody the love of God is not heroic faith and determination. It has to do with whether or not we can take hold of the love of God as a power that includes us within it. The difference is between seeing life from the inside of God versus seeing it from within my own sensibilities and capacities. From inside the love of God, suffering becomes not only bearable, but a privilege of participating with Christ in his love for the world. This cannot be rationally explained or justified, but it is the fruit of a life trustingly lived in and for God who is all love. Jake Bernard

God Almighty, You are loved.  Jesus, You are love lived out.  Holy Spirit, You are the love within me.  Amen (REM)
