Daily Dose of God's Word 5-2-2019

Memory Verse: And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Cor 3:18

He spoke directions for evangelism (Acts 13:2).
He leads the children of God (Romans 8:14).
He helps us by interceding for us with the Father (Romans 8:26-27).
We can have fellowship with the Spirit (2 Corinthians 13:14).

Yesterday, I asked you a strange question, have you seen the Holy Spirit?  Just like the wind, you can't see but can see it's effect, in a windmill, a windsock or the bend of a tree.

Last, time I saw the Holy Spirit, he used the name Blaze.  Blaze was planting churches in the Ivory Coast, which is near Ghana, the home of missionaries we support. So a conversation was started, then still smiling I learned his son was gravely ill. So I did what a pastor does, I prayed for his son.  We were interrupted, only later I learned, he had only told half of the story.  Come to find out making disciples in Muslim territory had also lived through several civil wars.

I could see the Spirit's effect, in his love, peace and most of all love.  The effect was greater than all his current circumstances!  Today, will others see the Spirit in your life?  Today, may the Holy

Spirit be evident in your life!
