Daily Dose of God February 18

Memory Verse; For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Lamentations 4 Psalms 42

When wealth is passed off as merit, bad luck is seen as bad character.  This is how ideologues justify punishing the sick and poor.  But poverty is neither a crime or nor a character flaw.  Stigmatize those who let people die, not those who struggle to live. Sarah Kendzior

Despite the fact we are all made in your image, God, we can see ourselves as brothers and sisters only by the light of your redeeming grace. Give us eyes to see that we are made from the same dirt, and help us work to reconcile ourselves to one another and to the ground beneath us. Amen. (commonprayer.net)
