Father in Heaven, When grief is accompanied by tragedy and when loss comes with shocking impact, You remain the firm and unmovable foundation for our souls. When emotions conflict within us and overwhelm us, You are still our Light, our Shepherd, and our Shield. In our distress we will cry out to You. In our need we will rely upon You. Your faithfulness is our mercy. Hear now this intercession and draw close those who need hope in their sorrow. In the Name of Christ, amen.
