God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Those who know Your Name put their trust in You, for You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. Therefore Jesus tells us not to be anxious about our life, what we will eat or what we will drink, nor about our body, what we will put on. For by faith we grasp that life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. Let us not become anxious over situations we cannot control or things we cannot take into Heaven. You are the God of hope. Fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit we will abound in hope. In the Name of Christ, amen.
