The Daily Dose of God April 3

Memory Verse; For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV

Daniel 12:5-13, Ps 86

Easter Saturday. A day of in-between.

A grave is about to be emptied, but not yet.

The joy of knowing what’s coming;

the pain of having to wait for it.

An analogy for the whole Christian life.

#HolySaturday--Sam Allberry (@SamAllberry)

Our Gracious God, In the stillness of our souls we remember Your sure promises. We live in expectation because of Your faithfulness. Give us grace for times of uncertainty and grief. When we are tempted to run or hide in fear, impart strength to wait upon You. Not even death can separate us from Your love in Christ Jesus. May faith's expectation overcome fear's uncertainty. We wait for You, our Hope and our Salvation. In the Name of Christ, Amen. (Adah Hutchcraft)
