Snippet
When it comes to your life’s work, you can’t take yourself
too seriously. Even Jesus had an occasional joke with the
boys, take walking on water, for instance . . . but there’s a
time and place for fun. Jesus never faltered when it came
time to tip over the money stalls or to take his hard walk up
the mountain. – Deacon Jones
Scripture
David longed for water and said, “Oh, that someone would
get me a drink of water from the well near the gate of
Bethlehem!” So the three mighty warriors broke through the
Philistine lines, drew water from the well near the gate of
Bethlehem and carried it back to David. But he refused to
drink it; instead, he poured it out before the Lord. “Far be it
from me, Lord, to do this!” he said. “Is it not the blood of
men who went at the risk of their lives?” 2 Samuel 23:15-17

Welcome to the party, all my rowdy friends,
A Monday Night Bash on ESPN!
The game of the week, is about to ignite
Time to kick it off under the lights
The pressure is rising, strap in and hold tight
We're gonna blow the roof off this place tonight
Ready!
C'mon and get ready
I mean really ready
Are you ready for some football?
A Monday night party
The whole house is rockin', let's get it kick started
Launch this thing, raise the roof, that's right
All my rowdy friends are here on Monday night
Sentence Prayer
I thank you, O God, for giving me a body
which is specially fit and strong, and for
making me able to use it well.
In my training, help me never to shirk the
discipline which I know that I need and that I
ought to accept.
In my leisure and in my pleasure, help me
never to allow myself any indulgence which
would make me less fit than I ought to be.
When I compete with others, help me, win or lose,
to play fair. When I win, keep me from
boasting. When I lose, keep me from making excuses.
And help me always with good will to congratulate a
better player who beat me.
Help me so to live that I will always have a healthy
body and a healthy mind
This I ask for your love=s
sake.
Amen Unknown
