Snippet
all good things take
time to develop, and marriage, the best gift to lovers, requires more time for
it’s development and completion than any other good thing. lewis Mumford , PHILOSOPHY of modern life
author.
Scripture
And further, submit to one another out of reverence for
Christ.
For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the
Lord. 23 For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the
church. He is the Savior of his body, the church. 24 As the church submits to
Christ, so you wives should submit to your husbands in everything.
For husbands, this
means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for
her 26 to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word.[b] 27
He did this to present her to himself as a glorious church without a spot or
wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, she will be holy and without fault. 28
In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own
bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself. 29 No one
hates his own body but feeds and cares for it, just as Christ cares for the
church. 30 And we are members of his body.
As the Scriptures
say, “A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two
are united into one.” This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the
way Christ and the church are one. 33 So again I say, each man must love his
wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. Ephesians

"Wind Beneath My
Wings" By Whitney Houston

It must have been cold there in my shadow,
to never have sunlight on your face.
You were content to let me shine, that's your way.
You always walked a step behind.
So I was the one with all the glory,
while you were the one with all the strength.
A beautiful face without a name for so long.
A beautiful smile to hide the pain.
Did you ever know that you're my hero,
and everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
'cause you are the wind beneath my wings.
It might have appeared to go unnoticed,
but I've got it all here in my heart.
I want you to know I know the truth, of course I know it.
I would be nothing without you.
Did you ever know that you're my hero?
You're everything I wish I could be.
I could fly higher than an eagle,
'cause you are the wind beneath my wings.
Did I ever tell you you're my hero?
You're everything, everything I wish I could be.
Oh, and I, I could fly higher than an eagle,
'cause you are the wind beneath my wings,
'cause you are the wind beneath my wings.
Oh, the wind beneath my wings.
You, you, you, you are the wind beneath my wings.
Fly, fly, fly away. You let me fly so high.
Oh, you, you, you, the wind beneath my wings.
Oh, you, you, you, the wind beneath my wings.
Fly, fly, fly high against the sky,
so high I almost touch the sky.
Thank you, thank you,
thank God for you, the wind beneath my wings.
